Richard Whittaker - Vice Chairperson Publicity
Richard Whitaker is Emeritus Professor of Classics at the University of Cape Town, where he taught for 18 years before retiring at the end of 2007.Professor Whitaker holds degrees from the Universities of the Witwatersrand and Oxford, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of St. Andrews. From 2008-2012 he was Chair of the Governing Body of Greyton House Village School.
Anne Hill retired as Senior Lecturer and Head of Department of General Education and Training (GET) programmes in the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences (Mowbray campus) at Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
Judy Fuller - Student applications and selection
Before retiring to Greyton, Judy worked in the Director of the Undergraduate Funding Office at the University of Cape Town. This basically entailed establishing the eligibility of the students for financial support within available funds and the appropriate allocation of these funds.
Angus Barker - Committee Member - Fundraising
I am a retired Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and have acted as Valuator to a Life Office as well as a Pension Fund Valuator.My responsibilities included selecting and awarding bursaries to actuarial students, then mentoring and training them while they worked in my department.
Dr John Laband is a professor emeritus who lectured in history for 42 years at various universities in South African and Canada and who is still busy with his writing during his retirement in Greyton.
